This directorate oversees registration of premises, pharmaceutical personnel and enhance their capacities by establishing acceptable standards in pharmaceutical education and professional development. To ensure efficient facilitation and coordination, the directorate comprises three sections namely; professional development, training and research and registration sections.

The continuous professional development is the core function of this directorate. The objective is to streamline and guarantee efficient provision of services and regulation of pharmacy profession.
