The Examinations are offered three times a year (February, June and October). However, the Council will announce dates and venue for examinations two months (60 days) prior the examinations.

Candidates will receive examination results via Council website, local newspapers or letters from the Council within 60 days after the completion of the examinations
For Pre-registration examination; one must be a graduate of Bachelor in Pharmacy from a recognized institution; must complete at least 9 months of internship training and must apply to the Council at least one (1) month prior to examinations through PCF. 3 available at www.pc.go.tz
For Professional Examinations; one must be a graduate of certificate or diploma in pharmaceutical sciences from a recognized pharmacy training institution and must apply to the Council through PCF. 3 available at www.pc.go.tz.
Pharmacy graduates from abroad must apply to Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) for evaluation of their award before applying to the Pharmacy Council for Provisional Registration and allocation of internship center through PCF. 2 available at www.pc.go.tz, pay the prescribed fee and attach all the required documents. You will be notified the results of your application within 21 days.
For Graduates who studied in Tanzania, As soon as the University Senate approves the results and you have passed the final examinations, you will be required to apply through PCF.2, pay prescribed fee and attach all required documents. The Council will the results of your application within 21 days.
Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.
If you wish to change an internship training center, you will be required to write to the Registrar to request for change of internship center and state the reason(s) for change.
If you intend to study pharmacy course within or outside Tanzania, you are advised to visit Tanzania Commission for University (TCU) (for degree or masters) or National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) (for certificate or diploma) to see whether the institution is recognized. However, you must visit the Council to obtain the set standards for the course you intend to pursue so that you will not get problems of registrations after you complete the course.
